This procurement aims at developing 9 pilot case studies in depth, in order to build a homogeneous base of evidence about the practical feasibility, effectiveness and limitations of NBS to address a variety of agricultural water management issues. This base of evidence, together with the broad literature and other examples already known in Europe and elsewhere, will be used for a research synthesis aimed at a generalized assessment at European scale, and production of policy recommendations.
