Supply and maintenance of NGS platform for DNA sequencing
The Fraud Detection and Prevention Unit of the Health, Consumers, and Reference Materials Directorate is launching a call for tender for the acquisition and maintenance of a next-generation sequencing platform to be used for the genomics-related activities of the units located in Ispra.
Current and future activities of the scientific units involve the use of NGS for identification of fish species/populations in unknown samples (DNA-FISH work package), detection of (pre-defined) genomic targets (GMO), and sequencing of unauthorised GM events.
