Supply and maintenance of 2 liquid chromatography-mass spectrometer (LC/MS) systems divided into 2 lots for the Validation of Alternative Methods Unit and the Chemical Assessment and Testing Unit.
The instrument for VAM Unit shall be composed of a liquid chromatograph, with a binary pump, heater for columns, autosampler, diode array detector, quadrupole time-of-flight (Q-TOF) mass spectrometer (MS/MS), with the nitrogen generator. The whole system must be controlled by a single programme which will respond on the demands to validate 'in vitro' methods for toxicokinetic purposes.
The instrument for CAT Unit shall be composed by a fast liquid chromatograph with degasser, high pressure binary pump, column oven, refrigerated autosampler unit, time-of-flight mass spectrometer (Q-TOF) and N2 generator. The whole system must be controlled by a unique software which will allow investigating and identifying substances that migrate from packaging into food.
The contract shall include supply, installation (including testing/qualification), training of the personnel, 2 years' warranty and maintenance services.
