Interinstitutional call for tenders concerning security guard and reception services at the European Union Houses in Rome and Milan, Italy

The purpose of the contract is to supply security guard and reception services which shall comprise the following tasks: operation and checking of the general security equipment (intrusion protection system, video surveillance system, checking of visitors using a metal detector, X-ray baggage and mail check system, checking access badges), operating the entrance to the building; carrying out regular internal and external (where necessary) surveillance rounds, inspecting suspicious parcels and mail, evacuating staff in an emergency, cooperating with the forces of law and order at the request of the contracting authority, managing keys and passes, checking supplies and deliveries, both incoming and outgoing, manning the telephone, checking the identity of visitors, carrying out a surveillance round at the opening and closing of the offices of the contracting authority.
The contract is divided into 3 lots which are separate, stand-alone and indivisible:
lot 1: security guard and reception services in the EU Representation and the European Parliament Information Office in Rome;
lot 2: security guard and reception services in the EU Representation in Milan;
lot 3: security guard and reception services in the European Parliament Information Office in Milan.
