Authentication, authorisation and accounting (AAA) for data and services in EU public administrations
This call for tender involves the following service requirements:
— identification and assessment of current technologies, standards and practices related to AAA/secure data exchange for public administrations' datasets and services, including those of relevance to Inspire, the ISA programme and the digital agenda for Europe,
— identification and assessment of best practices in the application of AAA/secure data exchange technologies and standards in a range of data-sharing and service-sharing contexts in Europe to identify how technologies and standards are being adopted and what elements may be missing from current approaches,
— gathering further evidence and advice from Member States' representatives through a workshop to help specify an Inspire-related AAA testbed,
— the design, development and deployment of the AAA testbed in real organisational contexts involving Inspire and the assessment of related technical and organisational issues at the Member State level.
The objective of this work is to develop, deploy and assess in real situations a testbed utilising the state-of-the-art open source AAA technologies and related standards to aid Inspire implementation while improving interoperability with other cross-border and cross-sector data and service infrastructures, including those relevant to the ISA programme and the digital agenda for Europe.
