The C.4 Unit carries out experimental campaign to check the compliance of vehicles with the existing and applicable regulations as required by the market surveillance task (regulation 858/2018). The contractor shall provide, upon request assistance services in support to the following main activities: • check of the test vehicles, • preparation of the vehicles for the tests, • restoration to the original state of the vehicles after the tests, • specific experimental set up for vehicle testing. The JRC is involved in the activity of vehicle market surveillance as required by Regulation (EU) 2018/858.
